The Met Office has issued a rare Red Extreme Heat Warning for large parts of southern England and Wales over the coming days.
We will run a reduced timetable on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. During this time, fewer trains will be running across the network.
Trains that run are expected to be busier and journey times will likely be longer than usual. Services may be subject to further short-notice changes and cancellations.
In line with national travel advice, customers are advised to only travel if absolutely necessary.
Ticket acceptance is in place to travel on alternative days.
If you must travel, please check journey planners before setting off, bring a bottle of water and do not board a train if you are feeling unwell.
Journey planners with service changes for Wednesday and Thursday are available. Journey planners for Friday will be available at 02:00 Thursday morning.
